ELECTORAL ACT 2004 (NO. 51 OF 2004) - SECT 32
Enrolment
(1) Except in the case of a prisoner, if an arrangement has been made under section 35 , a person enrolled on the Commonwealth roll is taken to be enrolled on the State roll.(2) If an arrangement has been made under section 35 , a prisoner who is enrolled on the Commonwealth roll is taken to be enrolled on the State roll if the prisoner is entitled to be enrolled under section 31(2) .(3) Notwithstanding that an arrangement has been made under section 35 , subsection (4) and section 33 apply to a person who is entitled to be enrolled under section 31(2) but who is not entitled to be enrolled on the Commonwealth roll because he or she is a prisoner.(4) If no arrangement has been made under section 35 (a) a person may be enrolled on the State roll only in accordance with procedures approved under section 33(a) ; and(b) the particulars of an elector shown on the State roll may be amended only in accordance with procedures approved under section 33(b) ; and(c) the name of an elector may be removed from the State roll only in accordance with procedures approved under section 33(c) .
