Immaterial errors not to void election
An election may not be declared void merely on account of (a) any irregularity or delay in the declaration of nominations, polling for the election or the return of the writ for the election; or(b) the absence of a returning officer or an election official which in the opinion of the Supreme Court did not affect the result of the election; or(c) an omission or error by the Commission, the Commissioner, a returning officer or an election official which in the opinion of the Supreme Court did not affect the result of the election.
