Election official not to act improperly
A returning officer or an election official must not (a) influence the vote of an elector at an election or, except by recording his or her own vote, influence the result of an election; or(b) disclose any information acquired in the course of performing his or her functions under this Act concerning the way in which a particular elector voted at an election.Penalty: Fine not exceeding 300 penalty units or imprisonment for a term not exceeding 12 months, or both.
