          Traffic (Public Vehicles) (Rescission) Regulations 2000
                                      
   I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies
   in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the
   Executive Council, make the following regulations under the _Traffic
   Act 1925_.

   _1. Short title_
   
   These regulations may be cited as the _Traffic (Public Vehicles)
   (Rescission) Regulations 2000_.
   
   _2. Commencement_
   
   These regulations take effect on the day on which the _Passenger
   Transport Act 1997_ commences.
   
   _3. Rescission_
   
   The _Traffic (Public Vehicles) Regulations 1967_ are rescinded.
   
   Displayed and numbered in accordance with the _Rules Publication Act
   1953_.
   
   Notified in the _Gazette_ on 21 June 2000.
   
   These regulations are administered in the Department of
   Infrastructure, Energy and Resources.
