TRAFFIC (ROAD RULES) REGULATIONS 1999 - REG 88

PART 8 - Traffic signs and road markings Division 1 - Traffic signs and road markings at intersections Division 1 88. Left turn signs

      (1) If there is a left turn only sign at an intersection, a driver must turn left at the intersection.

Penalty: Fine not exceeding 10 penalty units.

Note: For the meaning of left, see rule 351(1).

      (2) If there is a left lane must turn left sign at an intersection, a driver who is in the left marked lane when entering the intersection must turn left at the intersection.

Penalty: Fine not exceeding 10 penalty units.

Note: Marked lane is defined in the dictionary.
