                    Retirement Villages Regulations 2005
                                      
   I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies
   in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the
   Executive Council, make the following regulations under the
   _Retirement Villages Act 2004_.

   _1. Short title_
   
   These regulations may be cited as the _Retirement Villages Regulations
   2005_.
   
   _2. Commencement_
   
   These regulations take effect on the day on which the _Retirement
   Villages Act 2004_ commences.
   
   _3. Interpretation_
   
   In these regulations -
   
     _"Act"_ means the _Retirement Villages Act 2004_.
     
   _4. Application to elect for Act to apply_
   
   The prescribed fee for the purpose of section 5(2) of the Act is 75
   fee units.
   
   _5. Public liability insurance_
   
   For the purposes of section 20 of the Act, the minimum amount of
   public liability insurance is $10 000 000.
   
   _6. Application for relief under Part 5_
   
   The prescribed fee for the purpose of section 28(3)(d) of the Act is
   14 fee units.
   
   _7. Application for endorsement of Recorder_
   
   The prescribed fee for the purpose of section 38(2) of the Act is 75
   fee units.
   
   _8. Application for cancellation of endorsement of Recorder_
   
   The prescribed fee for the purpose of section 38(5)(b) of the Act is
   75 fee units.
   
   Displayed and numbered in accordance with the _Rules Publication Act
   1953_.
   
   Notified in the _Gazette_ on 4 May 2005.
   
   These regulations are administered in the Department of Justice.
