Tasmanian Consolidated Regulations
(1) For the purposes of section 58 of the Act
(a) the relevant classes of electrical articles are the classes of electrical equipment in respect of which standards of energy efficiency and performance are specified in regulation 6 of the Electricity Safety (Equipment Efficiency) Regulations 1999 of Victoria as in force from time to time; and
(b) the relevant minimum standard of energy efficiency for an electrical article of a class referred to in paragraph (a) is the standard of energy efficiency and performance specified in respect of that class in those regulations.
(2) A relevant class fixed under subregulation (1)(a) is limited to electrical articles that are not second-hand goods within the meaning of the Second-hand Dealers and Pawnbrokers Act 1994.
