For the purposes of the operation of a provision of this Act in which there is
a reference to the Land Acquisition Act 1993 and that Act has not commenced,
the reference to the Land Acquisition Act 1993 is to be read as a reference to
the Public Authorities' Land Acquisition Act 1949 .
