Division 3 - Well works Causing well works to be undertaken
(1) A person must not cause any well works to be undertaken unless (a) the person holds a permit (in this Division called a "well works permit" ) authorising the well works; or(b) by virtue of an order under section 135H , the well works do not require a well works permit.Penalty: Fine not exceeding 200 penalty units and, in the case of a continuing offence, a further fine not exceeding 20 penalty units for each day during which the offence continues.(2) A person who is causing any well works to be undertaken under the authority of a well works permit must ensure that the well works are undertaken in accordance with that permit.Penalty: Fine not exceeding 200 penalty units and, in the case of a continuing offence, a further fine not exceeding 20 penalty units for each day during which the offence continues.
