WORKPLACE HEALTH AND SAFETY ACT 1995 - SECT 33

PART 6 - Administration 33. Director of Industry Safety

      (1) The Minister is to appoint a State Service officer or State Service employee to be Director of Industry Safety and that officer or employee holds that office in conjunction with State Service employment.

      (2) The Director is to perform the functions imposed, and may exercise the powers conferred, on the Director under this or any other Act.
