(1) A responsible officer at a designated workplace must, if required by the Director, keep a record book, in a form approved by the Director, to record the inspections made by inspectors, together with instructions given by those inspectors, and other information specified in writing by the Director.
Penalty:
In the case of (a) a body corporate, a fine not exceeding 25 penalty units; and
(b) a natural person, a fine not exceeding 10 penalty units.
(2) The responsible officer must ensure that a record book required to be kept in accordance with subsection (1) is made available for inspection by employees, contractors and self-employed persons at the designated workplace.
Penalty:
In the case of (a) a body corporate, a fine not exceeding 25 penalty units; and
(b) a natural person, a fine not exceeding 10 penalty units.
