(1) A person whose registration is suspended or cancelled as a result of a determination made under section 46 shall, within 28 days after that suspension or cancellation takes effect, surrender any certificate of registration issued to him under section 21 by delivering that certificate to the Board.
(2) A person who, without reasonable excuse, fails to comply with subsection (1) is guilty of an offence and is liable on summary conviction to a penalty not exceeding 2 penalty units.
