Establishment of Tasmanian Planning Commission
(1) The Tasmanian Planning Commission is established.
(2) The Commission is part of the State's resource management and
planning system, the objectives of which are set out in Schedule 1.
(3) The Commission –
(a) is a body corporate with perpetual succession; and
(b) has a seal; and
(c) may sue and be sued in its corporate name.
(4) The seal is to be kept and used as authorised by the Commission.
(5) The execution of a document sealed by the Commission is to be
attested by 2 members of the Commission.
(6) All courts and persons acting judicially must take judicial notice
of the imprint of the seal on a document and presume that it was duly sealed
by the Commission.
