Surrender of licence and identity card
(1) A person whose licence has expired or has been cancelled or suspended must surrender the licence and his or her identity card to the Director.Penalty: In the case of (a) a body corporate, 100 penalty units; and(b) a natural person, 20 penalty units.(2) The holder of a licence who no longer intends to undertake any activity under the authority of the licence must surrender the licence and his or her identity card to the Director.Penalty: In the case of (a) a body corporate, 100 penalty units; and(b) a natural person, 20 penalty units.(3) If a person fails to surrender a licence or identity card as required by subsection (1) or (2) , a police officer or authorised person may do one or more of the following:(a) require the person to surrender the licence or identity card to the police officer or authorised person;(b) seize the licence or identity card.(4) If a person has surrendered his or her suspended licence and identity card as required by subsection (1) , the Director is to return the licence and identity card to the person as soon as practicable after the end of the period of suspension.
