RESIDENTIAL TENANCY ACT 1997 - SECT 28
Provision of claim form, &c., on termination of tenancy
On termination of a residential tenancy agreement, the owner must (a) give to the tenant, not more than 3 working days after the termination of the residential tenancy agreement, a claim form signed by the owner; and(b) if the claim form specifies that it is considered that the owner is entitled to a disbursement, give to the tenant a notice that states the reasons why.
