POLICE OFFENCES ACT 1935 - SECT 37W
Advice to registered operator of date of hearing
As soon as reasonably practicable after a date is set for the hearing of an application for a forfeiture order for a clamped or confiscated vehicle, the Court is to give written notice of the date, time and place of the hearing to (a) the offending driver; and(b) any registered operator of the vehicle who can be ascertained after reasonable inquiry; and(c) any owner of the vehicle who can be ascertained after reasonable inquiry.
