PETROLEUM (SUBMERGED LANDS) ACT 1982 - SECT 51
Rights conferred by licence
A licence, while it remains in force, authorizes the licensee, subject to this Act and in accordance with the conditions to which the licence is subject (a) to recover petroleum in the licence area and to recover from the licence area petroleum in another area to which he has lawful access for that purpose; and(b) to explore for petroleum in the licence area; and(c) to carry on such operations and execute such works in the licence area as are necessary for those purposes.
