PUBLIC HEALTH ACT 1997 - SECT 6

PART 2 - Administration Division 1 - Authorised officers 6. Director of Public Health

      (1) A person is to be appointed as Director of Public Health subject to and in accordance with the State Service Act 2000.

      (2) A person appointed under subsection (1) must –

(a) be a registered medical practitioner; and

(b) have qualifications in the area of public health.
