POISONS ACT 1971 - SECT 54H
Application for review of decision
(1) An applicant for a poppy grower's licence who is aggrieved by a decision of the Board to refuse to grant the applicant a poppy grower's licence may apply to the primary industries Minister to review the decision.(2) The holder of a poppy grower's licence who is aggrieved by a decision of the Board may apply to the primary industries Minister to review the decision.(a) to specify under section 9 in a poppy grower's licence conditions or restrictions or to vary under section 9 the conditions or restrictions specified in the licence; or(b) to suspend or revoke under section 10 or 11 a poppy grower's licence (3) An application (a) is to be made in writing within 30 days of the applicant receiving notice of the Board's decision; and(b) is to specify the reasons for the application.(4) The primary industries Minister may extend the period referred to in subsection (3)(a) for making an application.
