MINERAL RESOURCES DEVELOPMENT ACT 1995 - SECT 3A
Meaning of obtaining minerals, and produced, in relation to geothermal energy
(1) A reference in this Act to obtaining minerals includes a reference
to producing geothermal energy.
(2) For the purposes of this Act, geothermal energy is produced when the
energy reaches the surface of the earth as a result of production activities.
