Monetary limit on jurisdiction
(1) The Magistrates Court has a civil jurisdiction which is to be
limited to actions for an amount not exceeding the prescribed amount.
(2) The Magistrates Court's civil jurisdiction includes the jurisdiction
to hear and determine minor civil claims.
