LAWRENCE VALE LANDSLIP ACT 1961 - SECT 8

      (1) The Treasurer may, for the purposes of this Act, on the recommendation of the committee, purchase or acquire all or any of the prescribed lands.

      (2) In its application for the purposes of this Act the Land Acquisition Act 1993 has effect subject to the provisions of this Act.
