Tasmanian Consolidated Acts
(1) The Governor, may in the name and on behalf of Her Majesty, by deed of grant convey and alienate to the corporation, any land acquired under this Act.
(2) A deed of grant under subsection (1) of this section may contain such conditions as the Governor may think necessary for the prohibition of the erection or placing of buildings or other improvements on the land to which the deed relates and, except as may otherwise be approved by the Governor, the corporation shall secure that those conditions are complied with.
(3) Subject to subsection (2) of this section any land vested in the corporation under this section is vested for the recreation, amusement, health, and enjoyment of the inhabitants of the city of Launceston and other persons therein.
