LIVING MARINE RESOURCES MANAGEMENT ACT 1995 - SECT 267
Division 10 - Special penalties
Illegally taking or possessing fish, &c.
(1) On a finding of guilt for an offence under this Act or regulations
or rules made under this Act relating to the taking, possession, purchase,
sale or trafficking of fish, a court must impose a special penalty equal to 10
times the value of the fish.
(2) A court must not reduce or suspend a special penalty for any reason.
