LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1993 - SECT 113
Declaration of land as urban farm land
(1) An owner of farm land may apply to a council to declare that land urban farm land.(2) An application is (a) to be in writing in a form approved by the council; and(b) to contain such information as the council requires.(3) Within 60 days of receipt of the application, a council may (a) grant the application and declare the land to be urban farm land; or(b) refuse to grant the application.(4) The council is to notify its decision in writing (a) to the owner of the land; and(b) to the Valuer-General, if it makes a declaration.(5) If the council refuses to grant the application, the owner may apply to the Magistrates Court (Administrative Appeals Division) for a review of the refusal.(6) . . . . . . . .
