LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL ELECTORAL BOUNDARIES ACT 1995 - SECT 31

PART 3 - Miscellaneous and Supplemental 31. Protection of members of Redistribution Committee or Redistribution Tribunal and witnesses

      (1) A member of the Redistribution Committee or the Redistribution Tribunal has, in the performance of his or her duties as such, the same protection and immunity as a judge of the Supreme Court.

      (2) Subject to this Act, a person appearing before the Redistribution Committee or the Redistribution Tribunal as a witness at an inquiry has the same protection in any civil or criminal proceedings as a witness in proceedings in the Supreme Court.
