(1) Information contained in a record placed in the custody of the State Library of Tasmania or the Archives Office shall be provided in accordance with this Part except to the extent that the provision of the information is restricted by conditions imposed by the person who placed the record in that custody.
(2) Subsection (1) does not apply in respect of a record of an agency or a record of a Minister placed in the custody of the State Library of Tasmania or the Archives Office if information contained in the record is required to be provided as otherwise provided by this Act.
