FIREARMS ACT 1996 - SECT 81

81. Acquiring firearms

A person who is not a licensed firearms dealer and who acquires a firearm from another person must notify the Commissioner in the approved form within 7 days after acquiring it.

Penalty:

Fine not exceeding 50 penalty units.
