Offence to remove, counsel or induce child to be absent without lawful authority, &c.
If a child has been placed in a place or in the custody of a person by or under the authority of an assessment order, interim assessment order, care and protection order or interim care and protection order, a person must not directly or indirectly (a) without lawful authority or excuse, withdraw the child from that place or custody; or(b) counsel, induce or assist a child to absent himself or herself from that place or custody.Penalty: Fine not exceeding 15 penalty units or imprisonment for a term not exceeding 3 months, or both.
