(1)  On application by the Commissioner, a magistrate may make an order prohibiting an organisation from soliciting for any period specified in the order if –

(a) the organisation is convicted of an offence against this Act; or

(b) the magistrate is satisfied that soliciting should cease during the conduct of an investigation by the Commissioner.

(2)  An organisation must not solicit for any charitable purpose in contravention of an order made under subsection (1) .

Penalty:  Fine not exceeding 10 penalty units.
