Tasmanian Consolidated Acts
(1) The Director is entitled to attend at, and participate in, the meetings of the Committee.
(2) Subsection (1) shall not be construed as giving the Director a right to vote on any matter at a meeting of the Committee.
(3) The Director shall refer to the Committee for its consideration any matter that has come to his attention which is more appropriately the concern of the Committee.
(4) The Director shall give assistance to the Committee in the carrying out of its functions and the exercise of its powers.
(5) The Director shall, at the request of the Committee, arrange for the collection and collation of, and the furnishing to the Committee of, information relating to a matter affecting the interests of consumers.
