COOPERATIVES ACT 1999 - SECT 31

31. Provisions with respect to appeals under this Division

      (1) A magistrate to whom an appeal is made under this Division has power to hear and determine the appeal.

      (2) After hearing an appeal, the magistrate may –

(a) affirm the decision of the Commissioner; or

(b) set aside the decision of the Commissioner and direct the Commissioner to take such action as the magistrate thinks fit; or

(c) direct the Commissioner to take such action as the magistrate thinks fit.

      (3) The Commissioner must comply with any direction given under subsection (2)(b) or (c).
