CORONERS ACT 1995 - SECT 43
Jurisdiction of coroner to hold inquest into a fire or an explosion
(1) A coroner must hold an inquest into a fire or an explosion if the
Attorney-General or the Chief Magistrate directs that an inquest be held.
(2) A coroner who has jurisdiction to investigate a fire or an explosion
may hold an inquest if the coroner believes it is desirable.
