BIRTHS, DEATHS AND MARRIAGES REGISTRATION ACT 1999 - SECT 5

The Registrar's general functions are to –

(a) establish and maintain the registers necessary for the purposes of this Act; and

(b) administer the registration system established by this Act and ensure that it operates efficiently, effectively and economically.
