Tasmanian Consolidated Acts
An inspector has the following functions:
(a) the detection and investigation of disease;
(b) the prevention of disease;
(c) the controlling of disease;
(d) the surveillance of disease;
(e) where appropriate, the eradication of disease;
(f) ensuring that persons comply with this Act and determining whether a person may have contravened this Act;
(g) such other functions as are assigned to an inspector by or under this Act.
