Tasmanian Consolidated Acts
(1) Subject to the exceptions and exemptions specified in Part 5, this Act applies to discrimination and prohibited conduct, other than inciting hatred, by or against a person engaged in, or undertaking any, activity in connection with any of the following:
(a) employment;
(b) education and training;
(c) provision of facilities, goods and services;
(d) accommodation;
(e) membership and activities of clubs;
(f) administration of any law of the State or any State program on any ground specified in section 16(e), (f), (fa), (g), (h), (i) or (j);
(g) awards, enterprise agreements or industrial agreements on any ground specified in section 16(e), (f), (fa), (g), (h), (i) or (j).
(2) This Act applies to inciting hatred
(a) in connection with anything referred to in subsection (1); and
(b) in any other area or in connection with any other activity.
