LONG SERVICE LEAVE (STATE EMPLOYEES) AMENDMENT BILL 2004 (Brought in by the Minister for Infrastructure, Energy and Resources, the Honourable Bryan Alexander Green) A BILL FOR An Act to amend the Long Service Leave (State Employees) Act 1994 Be it enacted by His Excellency the Governor of Tasmania, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and House of Assembly, in Parliament assembled, as follows: Short title 1. This Act may be cited as the Long Service Leave (State Employees) Amendment Act 2004. Commencement 2. This Act is taken to have commenced on 1 January 2004. Principal Act 3. In this Act, the Long Service Leave (State Employees) Act 1994* is referred to as the Principal Act. *No. 13 of 1994 [Bill 79] 3

 


 

s. 4 No. Long Service Leave (State Employees) 2004 Amendment Section 8 amended (Granting of long service leave) 4. Section 8 of the Principal Act is amended as follows: (a) by omitting from subsection (6) "15" and substituting "5"; (b) by omitting from subsection (9)(b) "15" and substituting "5". 4 Government Printer, Tasmania
