CONSOLIDATED FUND APPROPRIATION (SUPPLEMENTARY APPROPRIATION FOR 2009- 2010) BILL 2009 (Brought in by the Premier, the Honourable David John Bartlett) A BILL FOR An Act for the appropriation of money out of the Consolidated Fund for the service of the financial year ending on 30 June 2010 for the purpose of making a contribution to Division 5, Department of Infrastructure, Energy and Resources, of Part 2 of Schedule 1 to the Consolidated Fund Appropriation Act (No. 1) 2009 Be it enacted by His Excellency the Governor of Tasmania, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and House of Assembly, in Parliament assembled, as follows: 1. Short title This Act may be cited as the Consolidated Fund Appropriation (Supplementary Appropriation for 2009-2010) Act 2009. 2. Commencement This Act is taken to have commenced on 1 July 2009. THIS BILL IS COGNATE WITH THE EMU BAY RAILWAY (OPERATION AND ACQUISITION) BILL 2009 AND THE RAIL COMPANY BILL 2009 [Bill 57] 3

 


 

Consolidated Fund Appropriation (Supplementary Appropriation for 2009-2010) Act 2009 Act No. of s. 3 3. Issue and appropriation of $34 000 000 (1) In respect of the financial year ending on 30 June 2010, the Treasurer may issue the sum of $34 000 000 out of the Consolidated Fund. (2) The sum specified in subsection (1) is appropriated. 4. Purpose of appropriation The sum of $34 000 000 is to be applied to Division 5 of Part 2 of Schedule 1 to the Consolidated Fund Appropriation Act (No. 1) 2009, Department of Infrastructure, Energy and Resources, representing a Recurrent Services appropriation. 5. Expiry of Act This Act expires on 30 June 2011. 4 Government Printer, Tasmania
