A BILL FOR
An Act for the appropriation of money out of the
Consolidated Fund for the service of the financial year
ending on 30 June 2009 for the purpose of making a
contribution to Division 4, Finance General, of Part 2 of
Schedule 1 to the Consolidated Fund Appropriation Act (No.
1) 2008
Be it enacted by His Excellency the Governor of Tasmania, by
and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and
House of Assembly, in Parliament assembled, as follows:
1. Short title
This Act may be cited as the Consolidated Fund
Appropriation (Supplementary Appropriation for
2008-2009) Act 2008.
2. Commencement
This Act is taken to have commenced on
1 July 2008.

3. Issue and appropriation of $110 000 000
(1) In respect of the financial year ending on
30 June 2009, the Treasurer may issue the sum
of $110 000 000 out of the Consolidated Fund.
(2) The sum specified in subsection (1) is
appropriated.
4. Purpose of appropriation
The sum of $110 000 000 is to be applied to
Division 4 of Part 2 of Schedule 1 to the
Consolidated Fund Appropriation Act (No. 1)
2008, Finance-General, representing a Recurrent
Services appropriation.
