CONSOLIDATED FUND APPROPRIATION (SUPPLEMENTARY APPROPRIATION FOR 2004- 2005) BILL 2005 (Brought in by the Treasurer, the Honourable Paul Anthony Lennon) A BILL FOR An Act for the appropriation of money out of the Consolidated Fund for the financial year ending 30 June 2005 for the purpose of making a contribution to Division 2, Department of Education, contributions to Division 3, Finance-General and a contribution to Division 4, Department of Health and Human Services Be it enacted by His Excellency the Governor of Tasmania, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and House of Assembly, in Parliament assembled, as follows: 1. Short title This Act may be cited as the Consolidated Fund Appropriation (Supplementary Appropriation for 2004-2005) Act 2005. 2. Commencement This Act is taken to have commenced on 1 July 2004. s. 3 No. Consolidated Fund Appropriation 2005 (Supplementary Appropriation for 2004- 2005) 3. Issue and appropriation of $122 361 000 (1) In respect of the financial year ending on 30 June 2005, the Treasurer may issue the sum of $122 361 000 out of the Consolidated Fund. (2) The sum specified in subsection (1) is appropriated. 4. Purposes of appropriation (1) The sum of $20 400 000 is to be applied to Division 2, Department of Education for the purpose of making a contribution to an account in the Special Deposits and Trust Fund titled the Community Health and Well Being Fund of which ­ (a) $5 470 000 represents a Recurrent Services appropriation; and (b) $14 930 000 represents a Works and Services appropriation. (2) The sum of $15 000 000 is to be applied to Division 3, Finance-General for the purpose of making a contribution to an account in the Special Deposits and Trust Fund titled the Tasmanian Community Forest Agreement Fund of which ­ (a) $8 000 000 represents a Recurrent Services appropriation; and (b) $7 000 000 represents a Works and Services appropriation. 4

 


 

2005 Consolidated Fund Appropriation No. s. 4 (Supplementary Appropriation for 2004- 2005) (3) The sum of $35 000 000 is to be applied to Division 3, Finance-General, representing a Works and Services appropriation for the purpose of making a contribution to an account in the Special Deposits and Trust Fund titled the Royal Hobart Hospital Redevelopment Fund. (4) The sum of $25 000 000 is to be applied to Division 3, Finance-General, representing a Works and Services appropriation for the purpose of making a contribution to an account in the Special Deposits and Trust Fund titled the Better Roads Fund. (5) The sum of $2 000 000 is to be applied to Division 3, Finance-General, representing a Works and Services appropriation. (6) The sum of $24 961 000 is to be applied to Division 4, Department of Health and Human Services, representing a Works and Services appropriation. Government Printer, Tasmania 5
