CONSOLIDATED FUND APPROPRIATION
(SUPPLEMENTARY APPROPRIATION FOR
2003-2004) BILL 2004

A BILL FOR
An Act for the appropriation of money out of the
Consolidated Fund for the financial year ending
30 June 2004 for the purpose of making a
contribution to an account in the Special Deposits
and Trust Fund titled the Economic and Social
Infrastructure Fund
Be it enacted by His Excellency the Governor of Tasmania,
by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative
Council and House of Assembly, in Parliament assembled,
as follows:
Short title
1. This Act may be cited as the Consolidated Fund
Appropriation (Supplementary Appropriation for 2003-
2004) Act 2004.
Commencement
2. This Act is taken to have commenced on 1 July 2003.

Issue and appropriation of $128 450 000
3. (1) In respect of the financial year ending on
30 June 2004, the Treasurer may issue the sum of
$128 450 000 out of the Consolidated Fund.
(2) The sum specified in subsection (1) is
appropriated.
Purpose of appropriation
4. The sum of $128 450 000 is to be applied to Division 3,
Finance-General for the purpose of making a contribution
to an account in the Special Deposits and Trust Fund
titled the Economic and Social Infrastructure Fund of
which
(a) $51 450 000 represents a Recurrent Services
appropriation; and
(b) $77 000 000 represents a Works and Services
appropriation.
