Amendment Act (Commencement) Proclamation 2005
This proclamation may be cited as the Local Government (Financial
Management and Rating) Amendment Act (Commencement)
Proclamation 2005.
2—Commencement of Act and
suspension of certain provisions
(1) The Local Government (Financial Management and Rating) Amendment
Act 2005 (No 60 of 2005) will come into operation on 1 January
2006.
(2) The operation of section 4, sections 6 to 35 (inclusive) and Schedule
1 of the Act is suspended until a day to be fixed by subsequent
proclamation.
