A person must not, without the permission of the Director, use a device for
detecting metal or minerals in a wilderness protection area or wilderness
protection zone except pursuant to a mining tenement and a proclamation under
Part 3 Division 2 of the Act.
Maximum penalty: $1 250.
Expiation fee: $100.
