South Australian Consolidated Regulations (1) A motor vehicle
must have a right-hand drive.
(3) A motor vehicle
has a right-hand drive if the centre of at least 1 steering control of the
vehicle is to the right of, or in line with, the centre of the vehicle.
(4) A component of the
steering system of a motor vehicle that is essential for effective steering of
the vehicle must be built to transmit energy by mechanical means only.
(5) Failure of a
non-mechanical component of the steering system must not prevent effective
steering of the vehicle.
