South Australian Consolidated Regulations South Australian Consolidated Regulations5—Election to be conducted by returning officer
(1) An election for
the purposes of section 6(1)(a)(i) of the Act will be conducted by the
returning officer—
(a) in
accordance with these regulations; and
(b) to
the extent that these regulations fail to deal with a matter that, in the
opinion of the Electoral Commissioner, is necessary for the proper conduct of
the election—in accordance with rules determined by the
Electoral Commissioner in relation to that matter.
(2) The Board is
responsible for the costs and expenses incurred by the returning officer in
conducting an election.
