South Australian Consolidated Regulations2.4.2—Design, manufacture, supply and modification
(1) A person who
designs, manufactures or supplies a confined space must ensure—
(a) so
far as is reasonably practicable, that the design eliminates the need for
persons to enter the confined space; and
(b) if
entry may be required, that the confined space is provided with safe means of
entry and exit.
(2) A person who
modifies a confined space must ensure that the modification does not
detrimentally affect the safe means of entry and exit.
