South Australian Consolidated Regulations5—Behaviour of persons on library premises
(1) A person must not,
while on library premises—
(a)
interfere with another person's reasonable enjoyment of the premises; or
(b)
smoke or consume any food or beverages (other than in accordance with signs
erected with the authority of the Board); or
(c)
deposit litter or waste matter in any place (other than a receptacle provided
for that purpose); or
(d)
remain in a walkway or on stairs after having been requested to move from that
position by an authorised person.
Maximum penalty: $200.
(2) A person must
not—
(a)
distribute any printed matter; or
(b)
erect a sign; or
(c)
offer any article for sale; or
(d) take
up a collection; or
(e)
bring library materials or a bag, case, box or other article that could
conceal library materials; or
(f)
bring an animal or, if the owner or person in charge of an animal, allow the
animal to remain,
on library premises except as authorised by the Board, an authorised person or
these regulations.
Maximum penalty: $200.
(3) A person who needs
the assistance of a guide dog may bring the dog onto library premises if at
all times it is restrained on a lead not exceeding three metres in length.
