South Australian Consolidated Regulations South Australian Consolidated Regulations25—Commencing salary above minimum
Where an appointment is made which—
(a) is
the first appointment of a person as a teacher; or
(b)
involves transfer of a teacher from one position to another,
the Minister may, on the recommendation of the Director-General, approve a
commencing salary within the range of the scale provided for the new position
at a rate higher than the rate fixed for the minimum of that position, and
that salary shall be paid accordingly.
