Notwithstanding anything elsewhere contained in this Division, when a teacher
takes a period of long-service leave on half pay under the provisions of
section 20 of the Act he or she shall, for the purposes of long-service leave
and sick-leave credits, be deemed to be on full pay for the first half of such
period and on leave without pay for the remainder of that period.
