South Australian Consolidated Acts South Australian Consolidated Acts (1) An escort in whose
custody a young offender has been placed for the purpose of bringing the young
offender into, or taking the young offender out of, the State has, while in
the State, lawful custody of the young offender.
(2) If a young
offender escapes from the custody of an escort, the young offender may be
arrested without warrant for the purpose of being returned to lawful custody.
